The Scriptures command us to take heed to ourselves and the doctrine, for in doing this we will save ourselves and those who hear us (1 Tim 4:16). ... Because of the vast interpretations of Scripture, we find it necessary to explain the truths found in the 66 books of the Bible, which is the infallible word of God.
“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” (Jud 1:20) “Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Th 5:16-18)
My prayer is that we will come to an understanding of, and believe in our hearts, the reason why Jesus came to earth; and as a result, be able to fully receive His wonderful grace and be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (Tit 3:7)
When the LORD passed by Moses in the cleft of the rock, He proclaimed, “The Lord God, the Lord God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness (mercy) and truth ...” (Exo 34:6,7) It is interesting to take note that the first thing the Lord cried out was that He is compassionate and gracious.
Moses and John both had a revelation of God’s glory. They knew and believed the love that God has for us. Jeremiah chapter thirty-one contains a great picture of God’s heart and shows us four aspects of His character; namely, the God of Israel, a Father, a Shepherd, and a Husband. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.
