Behold The Lamb
\nIsa 53:7; 1 Pet 2:21-23; Jn 1:11<\/p>\n

Behold the Lamb\u2019s humility
\nWith mockers at His feet
\nWith bruise and spittle on His face
\nHis suffering near complete
\nBehold His quiet dignity
\nAs men did laugh and scorn
\nAs blood filled eyes the shame despised
\nBeneath the crown of thorn (2x)<\/p>\n

Behold the Lamb\u2019s meekness displayed
\nIn silence at the rod
\nAs blow by blow each stroke did know
\nWas all the will of God
\nBehold what majesty withstood
\nSuch cruelty from men
\nThe silent intercessor groaned
\nTo pardon them from sin (2x)<\/p>\n

Behold the Lamb silent and still
\nWhile men His skin did flay
\nLaid down His life through yielded-ness
\nGod\u2019s glory to display
\nBehold Him stand before the crowd
\nRejected by His own
\nOnce hailed as King by multitudes
\nNow loved by God alone (2x)<\/p>\n

Behold the Lamb, O more than see!
\nThis nature I must know
\nTo see alone a curse would be
\nIf only for a show
\nWith tear filled eyes myself despise
\nAnd all for Thee would give
\nTo share Your nature, taste Your power
\nAnd in Your grace to live (2x)<\/p>\n
