Let us come to the Living Waters and enter into the Sabbath rest by faith. We will become a house of prayer and He will give us a new name.
God created us to have fellowship with Him and rest from our striving. When we are passionate about our friend Jesus, we will be a light to those in darkness around us.
When we are born again and are healthy babes we hunger and thirst for the pure milk of the Word. God wants us to grow up thereby and mature to solid food, discerning between good and evil.
If we desire to be Christ's disciples, we must take up our cross and follow Him. In doing so there are many blessings and costs involved.
The message of the cross is the power of God unto salvation for those who believe. Let us take up our crosses daily and run the race with endurance.
"Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.” All boasting isexcluded by the law of faith. When we believe in Jesus and walk in love, the righteousness of God will be manifested.
Taking a look at some of Judah's kings we can see the dangers of becoming proud of heart and receive hope on God's mercy towards a repentant heart.
Those who believe God's word will have their faith outworking in obedience to His will. We need to remain humble and continue in His kindness that we may overcome and remain in the olive tree.
Whoever wishes to be a disciple of Christ must love Him more than his family and even his own life. Through His Spirit He will give the grace and the power to make the right choices and follow Him.
God wants to produce in us His character of loving our enemies. He tested David and taught Him to not only love the sheep, but his enemies as well.
To become a servant of the Lord Jesus we must obey His commandments; but a servant does not abide in the house forever so let us go on to perfection and count all things loss to become sons and daughters of the Most High God. Our obedience to Jesus should be out of love for Him not a grudging obligation.
To live a victorious Christian life it is critical that we always give thanks and give God the glory He is due.
What does the Lord require of us? To do right, love mercy and walk humbly before our God. Let us follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ and be a humble servant of all.
