"Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God."

By faith in our loving Heavenly Father we can overcome anxiety and cast all our burden on Him.

Jesus is our example, He was never in a hurry nor reacted to pressure from people. He listened to His Father and walked according to the Spirit.

"Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!" (Psa 107:8)

Jesus came to save those who dwell in darkness. Those who saw a great light believed in Him and drew near and received a greater grace through their faith.

Jesus encourages Martha to seek the things that will not be taken away from her. Her good service with a bad attitude was in vain and had no eternal value. Listening to Jesus before we act will determine if our works are temporal or eternal.

"We love Him because He first loved us"--This is the foundation of knowing God. His commandments aren't burdensome when we come to know Christ's sacrifice and come to Him in faith. When we love God and keep His commandments only then can we know that we love the children of God, because His Spirit is in us.

When we cry out to Jesus from our hearts He will hear us, heal our hearts and set us free.

Our life and faith will be tested by fire. There are times when there is no neutrality and those who love the truth will find division.

Consider Jesus, He endured suffering and showed us His divine nature--which He made it possible for us to be partakers of.

When we are tested and are desiring to overcome, let us "have faith in God" and keep believing and keep coming to Jesus for salvation.

Jesus asks us to forgive those who sin against us; even if they sin 7 times and come and repent each time in one day. We must remember that He commands us to forgive such people in light of the forgiveness that He has given to us who have sinned against Christ much more.

The children cried, "Hosanna, Sav Us" when Jesus came into Jerusalem but others were hardened and unbelieving. What attitude do we have toward the Lord Jesus in relation to our sin and struggles?

Christ taught His disciples to follow after Him and take up their cross. He showed them what it meant to deny self and became a perfect example for us to live for God's interests and not our own.

The Lord desires to dwell in a heart that is contrite and broken before Him.

By faith we believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the same Spirit that raised Him from the dead can give life to every area of our lives.

The Lord is coming again for a pure bride. Let us be ready and have our hearts fixed on His kingdom and not on earthly things.

When we are born again we become new creations and Christ's genes--His divine nature--is formed in us by His Holy Spirit.

God desires the love of all our hearts, resulting in obedience, rather than "sacrifices and burnt offerings."
